The dream began with a mere six people meeting in the living room of a small apartment in 1990. Pastors Dennis & Colleen were inspired to be a catalyst to help transform people's lives with the love of Christ. From the very beginning, their goal has been to raise up a local church who will profoundly impact the world. Their greatest desire is to see that dream come to pass by helping each individual to experience a genuine heart transformation through a real relationship with Jesus Christ.

The Rouses are deeply committed to encouraging each individual to reach their highest potential in Christ. They are determined to revolutionize as many lives as possible by focusing on building stronger families, transforming our local community through active participation, bridging the gap between the cultures, and impacting the world with the love and generosity of Christ.

Today, Pastors Dennis & Colleen have learned many life lessons throughout the course of their ministry. These lessons have enabled them to teach passionately, openly and honestly, sharing from both their successes and failures. They are especially passionate and active in international leadership training, missions and pastoral mentorships, as well as Men's and Women's Ministry. They continue to serve as the Senior Pastors to this day. They have enjoyed a rich and fulfilling marriage for over 25 years, and are dedicated parents to their college-aged daughter, Lauren. Above all, the Rouses' top priority is continuing to grow in the relationship with the Lord and seeing His Kingdom come to pass in their lives and the lives of those around them.

 

Johnson & Summer Bowie,
Lead Pastors - Hamiltom Mill Location

The call to ministry began back in the year 2002 for Johnson and Summer Bowie. It was in that year that the Lord began to train and enlist the young couple to begin leading at a new level to help disciple others to follow Jesus and model their lives after Him.

Since then the Bowie's attended Victory World Ministry Training Center at Victory World Church and felt the call to full time ministry. They have led and trained up many leaders through Fusion (the young adult ministry of Victory) under the leadership of Pastors Dennis and Colleen Rouse. Johnson and Summer have a passion to see others not only know Christ, but live a life fully and completely devoted to Him.

In 2010, Johnson and Summer stepped into the Lead Pastor role at a new satellite location, Victory @ Hamilton Mill.

They are excited about the future God has for his people in the area of Hamilton Mill and plan to reach them by actively pursuing the heart of God while remaining faithful to the Vision of Victory World Church. Johnson and Summer continue to grow in love with one another as their marriage approaches its 10-year mark and their family blossoms with two sons Jeremiah and Isaac and two Weiner dogs Frankie and Bogart. In all thatthey do, the Bowie's heartbeat is to continue seeking the heart of God and transforming the community around them for the name of Jesus.

With Dennis & Colleen Rouse as Victory World Church Senior Pastors and Johnson & Summer Bowie as on-site Hamilton Mill Lead Pastors, VHM is moving boldly toward the Victory vision of a life-giving, multi-cultural church in the Mall of Georgia area. With frontage alongside I-85, a recently renovated building, and plans to build an 800-seat sanctuary, the future of VHM is bright!
